LOL, I did own a dreamcast, but did not keep it either. Another great console that wasnt supported. If money wasnt important, I would have kept the PS3, but I needed the cash for a new guitar I was building (a dream Ive had for a long time) finished it too, & I gig with it regularly. I have to say, I've gotten alot more out of it than the PS3 ever gave me. Of course, it cost more to build than 3 PS3's. Next to music, gaming is my favorite hobby... so yes, I STI...

Wow. There is nothing else to say. TOTAL 360 DOMINATION. Well, maybe now some of you Sony diehards can understand why GAMERS choose the Xbox 360. It's because of the games, plain & simple. Look at the sales, look at the attach rates. I think Sony turned off alot of gamers with all their FUD & promises they have never delivered on (that's what happened to me).

Hmmm, sounds like speculation at best. However, personally, I dont care about BluRay or HD-DVD drives. I just want a GAMING console.
Good stuff. When Sony puts the emulation chip BACK IN this model & releases some AAA games I will definately consider repurchasing a PS3. But until I see at least a handful of excellent games I am interested in & backwards capability for PS2 games WITH a price point under $400, oh, & a controller WITH rumble in the box, THEN that will be the perfect time to consider purchase.
Looks like SKATE is the game to buy.

It's just "another over rated fps game" thats about to go AAA. Do you *realize* that FPS games are the hottest selling game genre next to the most popular genre, sports ?!?
The last 2, (Bioshock & Halo 3), have been meet with AAA reviews. Your precious KZ2 is an FPS. If you don't like FPS, buy yourself a Wii & don't buy their best game, Metroid, because it is also an FPS.
Please - PC vs. Console graphics comparisions are a joke. PC will always be superior, although I am primarily a console gamer. Just enjoy the game.
SF4 sounds good but sorry, LOST PANTIES is not very good. Lol, the "storyline" was really bad. However the art & graphics were pretty cool, but story & gameplay add the most, & the gameplay was VERY average. Dead Rising was a much better game.
Lastly, I do have to agree with MK RED...... MK FTW !!!!

I agree. Sony is not Dead... nor will they ever be. Same for Microsoft. People should get it thorough their thick heads that Nintendo, Microsoft, & Sony are all here to stay. Competition is good for us gamers, Sony will have to counter with something, here's to hoping they can make it more interesting next year.
Lol, I don't know about the "peak year" comment though. I think that remains to be seen.
